Awards
I am pleased to be the recipient of the very first "1000
Miles Per Watt Award," in the JT9 mode, from the QRP/Amateur Radio Club
International. My dad has Award #2.
Straight Key Century Club (SKCC)
I am the youngest ham to acheive the Worked All States Award from the SKCC.
During the club's 5th anniversary celebration I worked all 10 commemorative stations (K3Y) in the lower 48 states. I also operated a shift as the commemorative station for Callsign area 1, K3Y/1.
The PSK club has
dozens of endorsements for members (only takes 50 PSK QSOs
to join!) I am member #1229 and have already earned
the following:

The PSK club has some really clever ways to encourage PSK activity. Both Dad and I earned these two awards on the first day (1/1/2011) they were available:

"Young Buck" Award
I am proud to be the 14th ham to earn the "Young Buck" Award from the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC)
Worked All Areas
My very first ham award was the Worked All Areas Award, from the Quarter Center Wireless Association.
Feld Hell Sprint
And my very first contest was the June Feld Hell Sprint in which I came in 4th place. Not bad considering I still only had my Technician and was only allowed to run digital on 10 meters.Clubs
